WHO CAN ENTER THE PROMOTION?

VIC residents who are 18 or over can enter the promotion.

WHEN CAN I ENTER?

You need to submit your entry between 9.00am (AEST) on 1st August 2024 and 11.59pm (AEST) and 11.59pm (AEST) 28th September 2024 (Competition Period).

WHERE WILL THE PROMOTION RUN?

The promotion will be run from The Deck Bar and The Frank Grey Smith Bar at the MCG.

HOW DO I ENTER?

To submit your entry during the Promotional Period you must:

  1. purchase a 500mL glass of Asahi Super Dry (in a specially marked glass) from The Deck Bar at the MCG ("Participating Venue"); and
  2. visit the promotional website (via the ‘tap to discover’ NFC tag appearing on the specially marked glass);
  3. follow the prompts to the Promotion entry page; and fully complete and submit the online entry form with your personal details as requested.

WHAT PRODUCT/S DO I NEED TO PURCHASE?

To enter you must purchase a 500mL glass of Asahi Super Dry from the bar.

HOW MANY TIMES CAN I ENTER?

You can only enter once per day, per qualifying purchase.

WHAT ARE THE PRIZES?

There are 2 types of prizes to be won;

WHAT IS THE VALUE OF THE TOTAL PRIZE POOL?

The total prize pool is up to $5,500.00

WHEN IS THE PRIZE DRAW?

Both prize draw will take place at 12pm (AEST) on 01/10/2024.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF I’M A PRIZE WINNER?

Prize winners will be notified by email writing within 7 business days of the draw.

HOW DO I RECEIVE MY DIGITAL PREPAID GIFT CARD?

  • You will have received an SMS with a one-time unique activation link. Your unique activation code will need to be used within 2 months of the SMS original send date. This will be noted in the SMS you receive.
  • Click on the one-time unique activation link in the text message and you’ll be directed to your device’s app store to install the Vault Payments application.
  • Click the option to install and then open the Vault Payments app and enter your mobile number and activation code that was provided in the SMS. (You may be asked for additional information to confirm your identity.)
  • When prompted, read and accept the Vault Payments Terms & Conditions.
  • You’ll then see your Digital Prepaid Gift Card in the Vault app, and you’re ready to add it to your Apple, Google or Samsung digital wallet.

HOW TO ADD YOUR DIGITAL PREPAID GIFT CARD TO YOUR PHONE WALLET

  • First, you will need to activate your card. (See above)
  • Then you can press “Add card to wallet” in the Vault app to add to Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, or Samsung Wallet.
  • If your phone is paired with an Apple Watch, you can choose to add your card to the wallet on your phone, the wallet on your watch, or both.

WHERE CAN I USE MY DIGITAL PREPAID GIFT CARD?

You can use your Digital Prepaid Gift Card within the MCG.

WHEN WILL MY DIGITAL PREPAID GIFT CARD EXPIRE?

The Digital Prepaid Gift Card must be activated within 2 months of issue and are valid for 12 months after activation.

This expiry date can be found on the front of the card in the Vault Payments app.

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY COMMITTEE ROOM BY GROSSI VOUCHER?

Voucher will be sent via email. More details will be sent across if drawn a winner.

WHAT IS AN NFC TAG?

NFC stands for Near Field Communication and allows your smartphone to access the competition entry site by tapping your phone on the tag icon area of the glass.

HOW DO I KNOW IF NFC IS ENABLED ON MY PHONE?

For Apple phones NFC is always on, however some older phones required you to turn this one. To check if NFC if turned on your Apple phone, please follow these steps: 

  1. Open the settings app
  2. Tap “Wallet & Apple Pay”
  3. Turn on NFC tag reader or NFC scanning

Some Android phones will require it to be turned on. To check if NFC is turned on your Android phone, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Tap 'Connections'
  3. Tap 'NFC and contactless payments'
  4. If NFC switch is off, tap the switch to turn NFC on

HOW DO I USE THE NFC TAG? 

For Apple phones, please follow the below steps: 

  1. Hold top right of phone over the red rondel area.
  2. Wait for up to 5 seconds.
  3. Pop up will appear to open link.

NFC for iPhone

For Android phones, please follow the below steps: 

  1. Unlock the phone and keep on the home screen.
  2. Hold the centre of your phone over the red rondel on the glass for up to 5 seconds.
  3. Phone will vibrate and pop up will appear from bottom of screen to open link.

HOW LONG DO I NEED TO HOLD MY PHONE TO THE NFC TAG?

To activate, please hold the phone over the NFC rondel for up to 5 seconds.
